The study will therefore use a qualitative as well as quantitative research techniques. The study will examine the extent of community participation in Safe Motherhood (S.M.) activities. A convenient sample of seventy subjects will be drawn from catchment areas of three Health Centers (WC). Two villages will be randomly selected from each H/C catchment area.
