The purpose of this study was to measure how much women know of their health related issues, in this case preeclampsia and to what extent this information can affect women centred health care delivery. The study intended to assess the women's knowledge concerning the condition, their perceptions, their coping mechanisms and the quality and quantity of information given to them at the health care facility. The study was qualitative in design and data was collected using one to one interviews using a well structured interview guide developed by the researcher. A sample of 20 women was recruited, selected randomly. The target area for this study was Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital. Data was analyzed manually.en_US
