The purpose of this proposal is to investigate women's knowledge and perception on the effects of vaginal douching. It aims at exploring women knowledge of the effects of the practice. This is to enlighten these women that the practice has negative effects and therefore dissuading the practice. The study will be conducted at Kawale Health centre targeting women seeking health services at the facility. The study will use qualitative research design and a random sampling will be used in the study where a sample of 20 participants will be used. Data will be collected using a questionnaire developed by the researcher and it will be analyzed manually. The analyzed data will be presented on tables, charts and graphs.en_US
