dc.description.abstract | This write up is a research study proposal aiming at finding out the impact of Epilepsy on education attainment among the affected youth. This will be descriptive qualitative study and the study will be conducted at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre district at the epileptic clinic. In this study, convenient sampling will be used and 14 participants will be selected from among the affected youth and 7 will be male and 7 will be female. The data collection tool that will be used in this study will be a questionnaire of which each and every participant will be asked questions. Data will be analysed manually and after data analysis, the findings of the study will be released via Kamuzu College of Nursing Research Center and there after copies will be available at Ministry of Education, Kamuzu College of Nursing Library and Kamuzu College of Nursing Basic Studies Department. To ensure ethical protection of the respondents rights in this study, ethical considerations have been incorporated. The project will cost approximately K42 000. | en_US |
